God of War: Ascension includes demo for Last of Us

Naughty Dog have just announced via the Playstation Blog that anyone purchasing a copy of God of War: Ascension will get access to an exclusive demo of The Last of Us. Naughty Dogs Community Strategist, Eric Monacelli stated:

"We have some very exciting news to share with you. We’re announcing today that players who pick up God of War: Ascension will be able to play an exclusive demo of The Last of Us when it becomes available at a later date."

It sounds like the demo will not be on the disc for God of War: Ascension, but will be avaliable in coming weeks after its 7th March launch. Eric continued:

"We’ve teamed up with the development crew at Santa Monica Studio to include access to a chapter of The Last of Us in every copy of God of War: Ascension, so you won’t have to wait too long to get your hands on two of the biggest games of the year. You’ll simply have to load your God of War: Ascension disc into your PS3 and find The Last of Us listing on the main menu. There, you’ll find details on how you can access The Last of Us demo, for free, as soon as it becomes available."

So now you have another good reason to get Kratos latest adventure.

The Last of Us - New Trailer and launch date.

Sony and Naughty Dog unveiled the newest trailer for their upcoming PS3 exclusive title, The Last of Us, at the 10th Video Game Awards over the weekend. This new trailer is the first to focus on the games story and also the first to show areas outside of the city previously seen in the trailers and playthroughs.

The game sure looks like it is going to be an epic adventure. It still looks like its I am Legend meets the Walking Dead and Uncharted mash-up. That is not a criticism in any way. Anyway the game looks amazing and now we only have to wait until 7th May 2013 to play it.
