PlayStation Plus - November Update

With only a few weeks to go to the PlayStation 4, it is time for the final PSPlus update before it moves to support three formats. With the change over to PlayStation 4 also comes change for current subscribers. From this month on the Instant Game Collection will now only receive two titles on PlayStation 3, rather than the three we currently recieve. This will undoubtly upset a few people, but Sony have to make changes in order to incorporate the new PS4 in to the scheme. Seeing that I havent even touched the three games offered in the October update, I can't see dropping down to two is that much of  a problem for a gamer like me.

What then does November hold? Lets take a look...

Metal Gear Rising: Revengenace arrives on the Instant Game Collection to bring its slice of hig octane action for all to enjoy. Combining the creative talents of both Kojima Studio and Platinum Games, Metal Gear Rising: Revengenance not only has the best name in the world, but also some of the best swordplay in gaming. Featuring a fantastic blade mode, you can actually slice and dice almost anything in the game in to tiny little pieces. The move away from Tactical Esponiage to all out action is a great move for Raiden and the Metal Gear series. Typically, I won a copy of this from Konami at the Eurogamer Expo literally two weeks ago!

Next up is Remember Me, DontNod Entertainments debut title. Set in a futuristic vision of Paris, you play as memory hunter, Nilin. She has had her memories taken from her and she must fight her way through Paris to get them back. Nilin can also use her talents to remix the memories of her targets in order to gaing the upper hand over them. Remember Me is one of the most stylish games of 2013 and is a welcome addition to PlayStaion Plus.

Vita owners are in for a treat in November. Two new games join the Instant Game collection on the 23rd October and at some point during November the annual games will switch over from Gravity Rush & Uncharted: Golden Abyss to two new unannounced games. First up for the this month though is...

Oddworld: Strangers Wrath HD is fantastic first person shooter, set in Lorne Lanning's amazing Oddworld universe. Set in the wild west of Oddworld, you take the role of the Stranger, a mysterious bounty hunter, who catches his prey using the critters found living in the wilderness. A truly wonderful game and another great experience for the Vita. With the original Oddworld game, Abe's Oddesee getting a long sought after HD reboot later this year, this is a great title to play to get back into Oddworld.

Finally, MotorStorm RC comes to PS Plus. One of the original launch titles on the Vita and developed by Evolution Studios. It seems only right that MotorStorm RC comes to PS Plus a few weeks before Evolution's latest game, #DriveClub comes to PS Plus as the first PS4 title in the Instant Game Collection.

So thats your lot for November, Next month we will be looking at a the next generation of PlayStation Plus. Hard to believe that it has come around so quick. Another month of great gaming to you all!
