PlayStation Plus - June Update

There are two great things about next months PlayStation Plus update. The first is possible the best collection of titles to date to be added to the Instant Game Collection. The second is that you actually get them on the 29th of May! So lets take a look at whats on the menu for June.

The first on the PS3 line up is Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. The criminally overlooked RPG from doomed studio, Big Huge Games. Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning follows the story of a resurrected hero known as the “Fateless One”, who embarks on a quest to discover the secrets behind his own fate. Kingdoms of Amalur is a fantastic action RPG and well worth taking the time to discover its charms.

Next on the list, is probably two of the greatest games I have never played. Team Ico created with these two games possibly the most emotional and involving games ever created. Ico tells the story of a young boy, exiled from his village, who finds a young girl in a castle. The girl is being hunted by shadow creatures and Ico takes it upon himself to protect the girl and lead her to safety.

Shadow of the Colossus could be described as a love story between and man and his loyal horse. The young man, Wander who travels a forbidden land in search of sixteen mythical beast called Colossi and slay them to save a girl from his village.

As if being given three top games wasn't enough already, hold on because the final game joining the Instant Game Collection is Demon's Souls. The precursor to the epic Dark Souls. Demons Souls sees you take control of a warrior who has journeyed to a strange land which has been cursed with a fog that summons demons. As with Dark Souls, expect tough opponents and lots of death, mainly yours.

After all this fantasy based bleakness, Vita owners will be probably be thankful for the inclusion of Ubisoft's masterful platfrom triumph, Rayman Origins to the Vita's Game Collection. The Vita version could possibly be the best version around. With touch screen functionality and the OLED screen brings such a clarity and vibrance to the wonderful colours of the game.

And last but certainly not least, we are very happy to announce that on 5th June you will also be able to download Coconut Dodge Revitalised, the new HD version of FuturLab’s incredibly addictive mini!
