PlayStation Plus Update - November 2014

Let's get it out of the way right away. Last Months PS PLUS Update was a bit of a disaster. DriveClub PS Plus Edition failed to turn up due to the disastrous launch of the full game. The future of the PS Plus Edition is still unknown, as of writing it is officially postponed with no firm release date. This has angered quite alot of PlayStation Plus subscribers, many of them took out Plus to get DriveClub a year ago, when the console launched. So Sony really need to step up their game this month in order to appease the growling masses.

Unfortunately, they haven't and it is another month of indie titles for the majority of users. With that said, there are some must have games included in this. Now for some reason this month has not seen an official post by the PlayStation Blog to confirm this month's additions. Although I received an email confirming half of them, which was weird. So this list could be subject to change (but I highly doubt it).

PlayStation 4:

The Binding of Issac: Rebirth (PS4/PS Vita Cross Buy)

Normally I would post a trailer here, but the trailer for this game is not appropriate for viewing by normal people. The Binding of Issac: Rebirth is the new version of Super Meat Boy creator, Ed McMillen. The game is a new take on the classic action RPG game. Featuring hundreds of hours of gameplay, 450 items, weapons and power-ups to find, as well as 50 bosses to face off against!

Steamworld Dig (PS4/PS Vita Cross Buy)

Steamworld Dig is a platform adventure that has been well recieved on 3DS before making its way over to Sony Platforms. The game is a cross between and Metroidvania adventure with a hint of Terraria. Take on the role of Rusty, a mining steambot, as he arrives at an old mining town in great need. Dig your way through the old earth, gaining riches while uncovering the ancient threat that lurks below…

PlayStation 3:

Frozen Synapse: Prime

First up on PS3, Frozen Synapse Prime is a turn based strategy squad game, in which you lead a small rebel faction set on overthrowing a powerful corporation. Control an elite strike team of futuristic soldiers; from shotgunners and snipers, to grenadiers and machine-gunners in the ultimate turn-based strategy game

Luftrausers (PS3/PS Vita Cross Buy)

Vlambeer’s stylish arcade shooter Luftrausers! is also avaliable this month.  Create your own plane from hundreds of different combinations of weapons, bodies, and propulsion systems. Then fight your way through enemy fighter planes, battleships, submarines, and rival aces for glory, honour, and high scores. Been waiting to play this for along time

PS Vita:

The Hungry Horde

I dont know much about this title, so I am going to have to Cut & Paste....  is quirky action puzzler The Hungry Horde. Lead a horde of zombies on a manic mission to swell the ranks of the undead and destroy humanity. Chase, corner and infect humans to grow your horde and stop it being nuked by the military whilst tackling a series of entertaining zombie-themed mini-games.

Escape Plan (PS4/PS Vita Cross Buy)

Finally for the Vita, a launch title from 2 years ago. Although, that said, Escape Plan is meant to be worth a go. In Escape Plan you have to help two captive friends escape a death trap filled factory. Switch between the two characters as you guide them through a darkly comic adventure, using teamwork and their unique abilities to find different escape routes.

I can understand if you only own one Sony platform you might feel short changed. If like me though you own all three, factoring in cross-cut titles it's another great month for free games!
