PlayStation 4 owners have just under a month to wait until they can their hands on Sucker Punch's next generation continuation of their inFAMOUS series. Second Son focuses on Delsin Rowe ,a 24 year old graffiti artist who discovers that he has super powers, which marks him as a conduit. Set 7 years after the events of inFamous 2, conduits are feared and hunted by the government. Delsin knows that to survive he has to fight back.
To celebrate the imminent release, Sony have released the TV spot trailer. All footage is taken from in game.
Gameplay previews have been cropping up over the last few weeks and the overall verdict seems to be that Second Son is set to herald the first batch of "Next Gen" games. It certainly does look gorgeuus in the TV spot above. Luckily a Russian site has been able to post extensive footage of the game onto the internet. Seeing the actual game in motion it is plain to see a glimpse at what the new generation of consoles are capable of delivering.
Most of the previews have pointed out that where the game looks stunning, the gameplay doesn't seem to introduce much new into the series. To my mind, as a big fan of both previous games, that seems fine by me. Here's hoping that I can make the switch to next generation before the game is released on the 21st March.
