Its Awesome Week!

Every so often. the forces that control the cosmos combine their powers and create a week of such pure unfiltered Awesomeness that people may not be able to handle the power of Awesome.
In a week that started with E3 and Microsoft and Sony going head to head for the title of best Next Generation console. E3 showcased many instances of Awesome in its purest form, reaching dangerous levels during Sony's big PS4 conference, which lead to a small outbreak of uncontrollable whooping and cheering and several people needed treatment afterwards. Other Awesome reports came from the first gameplay demo of Destiny, Bungie's first game away from the Halo universe. Think MMO Halo with a ten year plan.
You can always rely on Batman to deliver Awesomeness and Batman: Arkham Origins was no exception.
In the midst of all this E3 madness, there was sudden influx of Awesome from movie land as the first trailer for the next installment of The Hobbit trilogy, The Desolation of Smaug.
A ticket to see this would literally be the best Christmas present ever (that and a PS4).
Back to E3, and more Awesomeness was seen in just about every game Ubisoft showed to public. Watch_Dogs, Rayman Legends, Assassins Creed IV, Rocksmith 2014. Hell, even the new Just Dance game has Ghostbusters in it and therefore makes it awesome. EA showed off Battlefield 4, Need for Speed and then tipped the Awesome scale over with the announcement of a new reboot of Star Wars: Battlefront and fan favorite, Mirrors Edge.
So now we are at Thursday, E3 is on its final day and is winding down for another years Awesome week is far from over though. Tomorrow sees the release of the most critically video game of 2013 and its a PS3 exclusive, The Last of Us.
Normally, I would run an article showning what different reviewers have said about the game. There is no need with Naughty Dogs latest, pretty much everyone has given the game 10/10. If own a PS3, you owe it to yourself to get this game, its that good.
Almost there, the final part pf the most Awesome week possibly ever is... Man of Steel hits cinemas tomorrow. The gritty Zack Snyder/Chris Nolan reboot of Superman looks to be every bit as Awesome as The Dark Knight trilogy.
I need to sit down now, I feel quite faint from overexposure to Awesome. Have a great weekend whatever you do guys. I really hope its.... Awesome!
