Just three short days left now until the release of GTA V. A lot of people have been able to get their hands on the game already and the online pre-order people have begun repeatedly hitting F5 on the online order screens to see if their copy has changed from processing to dispatched. A few have been lucky enough to receive theirs in the post this morning.
I on the other hand have a pre-order at my local branch of Game and will be picking it up on Monday night at their midnight launch. There can you only witness the joy of the first person to leave with a copy, the despair of the first spotty teenager who goes home empty handed after he didn’t have adequate ID. Finally, the stupidity of the parents who not only bring their eleven year old son to a midnight launch for a game on a school night, but who also stupid enough to buy him a game the he is legally too young to play. Mind you, when they discover his penchant for murdering hookers in the game, they can make some decent money selling their story to the Daily Mail.
God, I am getting so old. Rant over moving on.
So with three days left and the spoiler leaks growing by number every hour. There is only one thing I can do. Go on shutdown and lock myself away from it all. The first time I have even been on the Internet today is right now to post this.
