A year has gone by already, and I find myself patiently counting down the days to Sunday, when I can invade the Eurogamer Expo. This years Expo is looking fantastic. With Nintendo offering the first UK public play of the Wii U and the chance to get hands on with some of the machine’s launch titles including New Super Mario Bros. U, Nintendo Land and ZombiU.
After, going to the Expo last year as Vita cynic, I shall of course be clutching my Shiny Vita and looking for Near hits. Sony are bringing their bag of new toys, including PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, Wonderbook: Book of Spells and LittleBIGPlanet Karting.
There will be lots more of games playable on the show floor. Here is just a small sample of them...
The highly successful developer sessions return again this year and what a line-up. If you have never been to a session and wonder if it is for you or not, give it a go. Last year, I went to the RockSteady/Batman Arkham City session and it was really interesting and gave a huge peak at the game before the actual release date. Top of sessions this year has to be Hideo Kojima attending on Thursday to speak about the Metal Gear 25th Anniversary. I would expect alot of talk of Revengence and Ground Zeroes.
Then there are sessions from Peter Molyneux, Chet Faliszek from Valve, The Crystal Dymanics team talk Tomb Raider and David Vonderhaar fromTreyarch is doing a session for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 called Challenging Assumptions. For a full schedule of session throughout the Expo, click here!
Theres also an Indie games arcade, a Professional Photographer for all you cosplayers, Insert Coin Clothing are selling there awesome range at the show and much much more. Just look at the floor plan...
So, See you Sunday. I will be the guy trying to squeeze himself into an XL Swag T-shirt and failing.
