Over the last few years, Xbox Live Arcade has really found its identity and the quality of titles like Geometry Wars, Shadow Complex and last years astounding Limbo have impressed thousand of gamer's.If only there was some way of playing these superb titles together as the same game. Well lucky you, this Wednesday sees the release of Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet. Combining the Metroid-like adventuring of Shadow Complex with the flight skills of Geometry Wars and the artistry of Limbo.
The trailer below looks incredible and after the incredible From Dust last week, this years Summer of Arcade is shaping to the best yet. Also, once again Microsoft have offered an oasis in the summer drought of games.
Played the demo yesterday and was immediately enraptured in the world the game created. Beautiful artwork and compelling gameplay in fact a technicolor shootem up version of limbo ... well sort of. 10/10 in my book.
